This one is a real pig. I have got about half the clues, think I can see a bit of a pattern, cannot get the grid started, feeling pretty thick. :roll: Nora

You are doing better than me Nora. I have five definites only. We are considering adding some visual clues like those employed for January. I will show any to Bud for his approval.

It's a very good puzzle but it is hard I think.

Got another one!!!!!!!! I put it away for a week and had a moment of inspiration when I picked it up. Still no real luck with the grid, though. All the other months either give you a colour-coded hint for a snake, or letter numbers, etc. September's has given several different hints so if I can just work out what they mean, I might get somewhere. Good fun.

I have agreed with Bud that the September puzzle should withdraw the jigsaw requirement and offer clues with full directions. This will get the grid going I think and solvers will crack the rest of the clues which are well worthwhile working on.
